History of Trainings

Chris and Graham have extensive histories in training therapists in Australia. They were the first therapists to bring Schema Focussed Training to Australia and New Zealand in 1993.  In 1996 they were the first therapists outside of Francine Shapiro’s original teaching group to get accredited training status by the EMDR International Association.  Graham organised the first Australian trainings in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and national workshops in mindfulness as a clinical intervention.  Chris brought the first international-based trainings in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder to Australia in 1999.

Current Accreditations

Graham is an accredited trainer listed on the official ACT Website. Both Chris and Graham are accredited with the International Society of Schema Therapy as trainers and supervisors and both Chris and Graham are trainers accredited by the EMDR Association of Australia.
