Internal Family Systems (IFS) Introductory Training

The IFS Introductory Training is a webinar series introducing clinicians to the IFS model.

Have you ever wondered how to use a parts model to gain insight not only into your client’s internal
world but also your own as a therapist? This approach is especially valuable when working with clients
experiencing complex trauma. Yet, it can be tough to know where to start or which therapeutic model to
choose.

With plenty of options out there—like Schema Therapy, ACT, Ego State, Structural Dissociation, and
more—it’s easy to feel a bit lost about the best way forward.

That’s why Internal Family Systems (IFS) is such a standout. IFS offers a clear, safe, and collaborative
framework that helps you and your client gently navigate the twists and turns of the internal world. It’s
like having a reliable guide through the maze of fears, blocks, and inner parts, leading to deeper
understanding and healing—for both your client and you.

Karen Reid offers six webinars each lasting 2.5 hours. Each webinar is preceded by a training video providing you with the opportunity to get to grips with theory in your own time. The webinar is then the opportunity to put the theory into practice. This ensures that by the end of the six sessions you will be able to use the whole model with your clients.
