I am currently not offering introductory workshops in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In 2018 a new workshop, Extending ACT, will focus on introducing therapists with an ACT orientation to the challenges of working with PTSD, complex PTSD and Personality Disorder, areas in which ACT has not yet demonstrated significant outcomes. This workshop will explore the limitations of ACT in working with these populations, and introduce therapists to some non-ACT strategies of proven effectiveness with these clients, but framed within an RFT perspective. The workshop will enable you to become a more flexible and effective therapist, to help your clients live more flexible and effective lives. That’s the essence of workability.
